Born to parents of Ghanaian, Scottish, Irish and Syrian heritage, Arnelle has been a freelance journalist for over six years within the fashion and lifestyle areas, with a deep passion for people and their extraordinary stories.
Interviewees include a politician, celebrity, sex worker, celebrity stylist, academics, psychologists, sociologists and hard-to-access, sensitive case studies. She was interviewed live on the Islam Channel in June 2016 to talk about her career, and offer advice to aspiring journalists.
Key skills include directing, interviewing, tutoring, scriptwriting, editing (Final Cut Pro) as well as photography/camera skills.
The City University of London journalism graduate is also a Channel 4 Production Trainee graduate, and her documentary on psychic development (which she presented, directed and produced) was shown at Channel 4’s HQ.
Miss Paterson has also worked alongside Trinity College and the English National Opera to deliver creative writing and teaching sessions to the next generation of potential creatives on a weekly basis.
